I can see God’s plan for mankind in 1 Thessalonians 1:10. It summarizes what God has done for us through His Son Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:10 “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” The previous verse [...] Looking at Ephesians 3:8, there are several things we can learn. Ephesians 3:8 “Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;” I noticed right off that Paul references himself as the “least of all saints.” [...] In Ephesians 2:19, Paul elaborates on what Christ did for us when He died on the cross. He uses a metaphor of our state before and after we became Christians. Ephesians 2:19 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;” We are [...] I read Ephesians 2:14-17 today, and it struck me of the many actions which Christ did by His death on the cross. Actions, meaning things which were done as opposed to consequences or results which are more of a byproduct of something which happened. There were consequences to what Christ did on the cross.
