God has laid out a plan for our lives in the Bible for a reason. He has a plan for us in the future. One of those plans is explained by the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:3. There are several things we can take away from this verse. 1 Corinthians 6:3 “Know ye [...] We need to be careful at times not to sidestep our responsibilities as a Christian, or as a church. It’s easy to have spiritual warfare with the things of this world because we see them and the horrible impact it has on our society and on God. But God has laid out for us [...] At the beginning of 1 Corinthians 4, Paul informs us not to judge others, or even ourselves. We are not worthy to judge. Only one Person is worthy, and that is God. Paul continues in verse 5, with two things that God will do when He judges us. 1 Corinthians 4:5 “Therefore judge nothing [...] Paul speaks of judging others in 1 Corinthians 4. If you ask people what the Bible says about judging others, some people will quote this verse from Matthew that says “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” Others will quote the passage that a “righteous man judges all things.” Paul talks in 1 Corinthians [...] In Romans 14:7-13, Paul explains how we are not to judge our fellow man. When we stand before God on judgment day, it is not our fellow man that we will be held accountable for. We will, as Paul phrases it, give account of himself to God. It is easy for us to compare [...] In Romans 14, Paul talks to Christians about judging one another. Specifically, there are people who will follow different customs and practices than we will. We are to get our direction from the Bible as to what doctrine we follow. But there are some things which the Holy Spirit will lead us to know [...] |
