Who we associate with in this world, and who we keep company with is very important to the Lord. We’re not talking about things you do, but your reputation in the world (although a person who keeps the company of a sinner will eventually become one himself). Paul addresses who our friends and companions [...] There’s no such thing as a little sin being ok in your life. A little unforgiven sin taints the whole spirit of a person. A little sin allowed within the church will allow the whole church to be tainted. Paul addresses this allowing of sin in our lives and in the church in 1 [...] Paul talks about the consequences of sin, both on ourselves and the ones around us, in 1 Corinthians chapter 5. You cannot sin without there being consequences. 1 Corinthians 5:3-5 “For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so [...] I would like to revisit verse 2 in this Bible study today. Paul talks about a church, the Corinthian church in this case, who allows sin to dwell unaddressed within their congregation. But you can look at verse 2 from a personal standpoint also.
