How would you characterize your Christian life? Would you say that you live a holy life? In 1 Corinthians 1:2, we learn that God has called us to holiness, and to live a life that is like that of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:2 “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to [...] What has God called you to do? What do you do with your life for the Lord? Every once in a while when we’re reading a verse, a word jumps out at us which makes us stop and think. In the case of 1 Corinthians 1:1, Paul says he was called to be an [...] Have you ever heard of the expression “Out of sight, out of mind”? It is easy when Christians are “out of our sight” that we forget to pray for them. Paul asks us in 1 Thessalonians 5:25 to not neglect remembering our Christian brothers and sisters in prayer, who happen to be away. 1 [...] Put your faith and trust in the Lord. He is One who we can rely upon no matter how bad things get and no matter what happens in our lives. There are times in our lives when people will let us down. As we read or study the Bible, God will teach you on how that particular verse will apply to you. If you aren’t a Christian, God will guide you to become one.
