In the final four verses of Romans 13, Paul warns Christians to “wake up” because the time of our deliverance is at hand. Paul compares our actions of this “becoming aware of our deliverance” to someone waking up after a long night’s sleep. In doing so, Paul warns Christians to halt and avoid sins [...] In Romans 13, verses 9 and 10 discuss how Christians ought to love each other. Paul explains how we treat with love those who we have the chance to meet, we satisfy the elements of the law. Romans 13:9,10 “For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, [...] In Romans 13:8, Paul tells Christians to owe no man anything, except to love him. [...] In Romans 13;5-7, Paul instructs Christians to pay their taxes honestly to those to who it is due. [...] In Romans 13:1-4, Paul instructs Christians to subject themselves to our leaders. He also lays out characteristics which those leaders ought to possess. [...] In Romans 12:21, Paul tells us to win the victory against evil. Not only that, but he tells us the means by which we accomplish this. [...] In Romans 12:20, we are commanded to provide nourishment to those who hate us. It is only a fraction of what Christ did for us, and our actions will speak volumes more than our words will. [...] In Romans 12:19, Paul expounds on what he said in verse 17: not to take revenge upon others when they do bad things to you.
